Todd Gaines

Todd B. Gaines is the President and CEO of Gaines Oil Company (GOC) a provider of petroleum and related products. GOC specializes in local and nationwide fuel deliveries, fuel quality management (fuel polishing), DEF and lubes, and industry specific project work. Because of GOC’s love and compassion for people, the company has excelled in disaster relief. The emergency storm division provides fueling and other related products to areas affected by manmade and natural disasters. GOC provides services to everyone from small family-owned companies to multi-billion-dollar companies.

Gaines Oil Company was founded in 1948 by Arthur Forbes Gaines. It started out as a provider of heating oil and supplied fuel for the local agricultural industry. Arthur Jerry Gaines took over the family company in the mid 80’s. He continued the growth of the company through increased product lines and widening the service area. Todd Branton Gaines purchased Gaines Oil Company in 2015 and rebranded under the name GOC. The company expanded its product and service options, while creating new divisions and expanding into new states. GOC was ranked 3rd in Triangle Business Journals’ “Fast 50 Awards”. This award recognizes the greatest sustained year-over-year growth of companies in the greater triangle area of North Carolina.

Todd Gaines has a B.A. in Business Administration from North Carolina State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He was raised in a Christian home, and his Christian faith remains a very important part of his life. Today, he enjoys staying active with cycling, running, and hiking.
