Joel Thomas is the Senior Fuel Quality Sales Specialist in our Sales Division. Joel graduated from Lee County High School and continued his education at Central Carolina

Community College as a Certified Ceramic Laboratory Technician and in the Associate of Science-Mechanical Engineering program. Joel joined Gaines Oil Company in the fall of 2016 with over 30 years of experience in the Estimating/Product Engineering/Project Management fields and eight years of experience in fuel testing, fuel quality, and fuel polishing. Since joining GOC Joel has worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Fuel Polishing Division, Fuel Polishing Division Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Logistics Coordinator in the Storm Division and now takes all the experience that he has gained and transitions to the Sales Division. Joel desires to help build the Fuel Polishing Division to the very best in the Fuel Quality business along with promoting Gaines Oil Company as the “One Stop Shop” to every customer and every potential customer he comes in contact with.
